Empty office blocks could be converted into much need accommodation. With gradens and solar panels on the roof and balcanies and hanging gardens down the fronts or wherever possible. A lot of facilities will already be in place, so with good architects and imagination we can completely change office blocks from dull unused buildings to ecological and beautiful homes for people who need them. Excess Underground car parks can be turned into leisure centres. Just look what has been done in Denmark. By creating free forms of energy solar or other. It will be a win win situation.
