Seizing the new normal

COVID forced us to go online. As much as it might have been frustrating and as much as we long to go back to what we used to be, it’s better if we could keep some of it. The following are a few opportunities:

1. Work can be redesigned as half online and half offline every week, so that people get more time to spend with family and productivity as well as individual well-being can be increased manifold. This will also help us reduce the digital gap at a faster rate because when online is a part of life, we tend to make provisions to adapt to that.

2. Horticulture in terrace/balcony: A nationwide campaign for promoting kitchen garden in every home can be encouraged. It is an area where we can capitalize for the well-being of the people as well as the environment.

Problems:

Loneliness and mental health issues.
