Slimming down overmanned empires

If one looks at the ratio of PRODUCTIVE workers to ADMINISTRATIVE ones, the ideal ratio would appear to be 1:7. By focusing on this ratio, one can oversee greater efficiency, and prevent middle management expanding their empires. Cases that spring to mind are: National Health Service, The BRITISH Broadcasting Corporation, Government Departments. The list is exponential. These ideas were proposed in two of my four general election manifestos, alongside VALUE for MONEY AUDITS. That would ensure that public funds were spent wisely rather than wastefully
