The key challenge presented by COVID-19 pandemic is that it made every one to be on a lockdown and this lockdowns lasted for months and this had an impact on the delivery of teaching more especially in rural areas where there is no electricity and not only that but both teachers and students have no access to internet and even electronic devices such as computers for them to be able to use. The consequence of that resulted in a negative effect in which the results dropped as students performed poorly both in primary and secondary schools which means that the quality of education is in question as the former set standards has to be lowered so as to accommodate such incident.
