In the aftermath of the epidemic there will be a need for a significant number of programmes to aid the recovery of both economy and people.
At present ideas are put forward for implementation without first going through a very simple process of programme identification which starts with a Critical Path Analysis. See below.
There is currently a general perception that government programmes arise as a means of combatting particular problems, taken in isolation and administered poorly on a shambolic and amateurish basis.
I propose that each project has it’s own project manager responsible for timely and economic delivery and that each project manager is responsible to a Project Management Co-ordinator who should have Cabinet rank.
