The world needs climate change to work.
As a country we are committed to being more environmentally friendly by 2030.
Why not introduce a law that ALL new buildings built in Britain have to have a certain percentage of solar panelling to get permission for build, this to include offices and factories.
This would:
. Help to save energy
. Provide cheaper fuel for consumers
. Provide jobs for those making and installing the panels, and maintaining the panels
. With training it could help to take some of the recently unemployed, through Covid, off the
unemployment register. They would have legitimate jobs, paying good wages, and so paying taxes.
. We need masses of new houses. If they all had solar panels installed at the build stage, energy savings
would be enormous
