We can follow Finland’s example of virtually eradicating homelessness, by providing permanent accommodation, helping these people to integrate and thereby contributing to society.
Most of these people have been rendered helpless and will continue to be so unless they are supported. It is surely their basic human rights to be afforded somewhere to live as fellow human beings, not stray animals. This must become a situation which ceases to exist in the UK and throughout the civilised world.
