The problem is some people refusing to be vaccinated. Fix it by giving a vaccine ID card for all who have the jab – and make it the case that shops, pubs, restaurants will not serve you unless you ‘”have ID”, i.e. the jab card. Just like you need ID to buy alcohol in pubs and supermarkets, if you want to shop in a public place you must have vaccination ID. And if you don’t have vaccination ID and are then “exercising your right” not to have it, then you are stepping outside of society so society will in turn step outside of you and all those without the vaccination card cannot travel on public transport, cannot be furloughed, cannot get universal credit or any other benefits. The Cov-ID Card should be a passport to being a responsible member of society.
