The settling processes of children entering an educational setting of any age will have to be rethought out and ensure it is slower then usual as more I believe the majority of children will need 1:1 attention and TLC then previous years. I may possibly take longer for these children to bond with a stranger as they are not sure to other adults or children. This is usually displayed in behavioural outburst or seeming withdrawn, but either way allowing for that extra time to ensure the children are feeling safe and well. This is important as if these bonds and securities of the child feeling safe is not formed they will be less connected with their learning capabilities. Schools/ Teacher will have to rethink settling procedures that support the personal social development of both children and parents. Then planning will need to focus more on the personal social and emotional needs of all these children. The will have very different levels to plan as children will have had every different experiences of home learning Possibly more information evenings/ q&a webinars to support parents and reduce anxiety and worry separating in preparation to the new schools year. Schools need more of a emphasis of supporting children, staff and parents with wellbeing teaching and education through webinars, staff meetings etc
