WelcoMe was launched at the end of 2018 and is available now although as a small company with a minimal budget for large marketing drives few know about it. The solution is low cost but highly monetisable leading to real sustainability and opportunity for scale. As the only company in the world providing this service, we are highly focused on growth and scale in order to help many more people lead independent and equitable lives. WelcoMe was required and developed before COVID19 hit us and will continue to be required afterward. We have 50+ partners already including rail, government, retail, tourism, hospitality, and NHS already and build with more on a daily basis.
WelcoMe is a SaaS model company with each partner paying a monthly subscription to have access to the platform. The app is free to our members and we ask them within the app where they would like us to install and who they would like us to approach to do this. This is building an increasing number of members all of whom are encouraged towards empowerment and the choice that the service allows them.
Vaccination centers are opening up across the country and inviting the first and most vulnerable people to attend but many will feel too nervous to make the journey and the process has the potential to grind to a halt. If we were to win funding through The Heywood Foundation we would address this in part by ensuring that venues ie vaccination centers and health centers were installed with WelcoMe and thereby able to reduce the anxiety in their visitors whilst at the same time reducing the strain on staff members.
