Opportunity now arises to charge a revenue levy on all internet based goods suppliers

By charging a levy on all UK INTERNET SALES, we would start to realise increased finances from previously uncharged taxes. This would give an increase to a level playing field in the retail trade and provide fresh opportunities to regenerate the high streets as a result.

The government would have increased tax revenue from both the Internet Sales Revenue tax and a restoration of income from Corporation Tax from High Street traders.

Companies that previously sent profits overseas and reduced their tax paid in the UK, would then have at least contributed more fairly to our economy.
