ChatGPT has drawn a lot of media attention on the topic of AI. How will such tools influence the way we research, discuss and think in the future? We also ask ourselves these questions and try to approach this topic – not only theoretically, but also with an experiment.
For this reason we will be submitting two entries generated by ChatGPT to this years Heywood Prize contest. Both submissions will deal with the same topic, but differ in style and expression.
Since all submissions go through an anonymous peer review process, it will be exciting to see how the generated entries perform. So will our volunteers recognize the generated items as such? Will the phrasing affect the performance of the idea?
We are curious how these submissions perform and what conclusions we can draw from them. If the submissions reach the shortlist, they will of course be removed again.
