Inequality is the largest problem faced by the poulation of the UK.

Inequality in the UK is leading to an ever-increasing disparity between groups in the population. This disparity has been exacerbated by Covid 19 with poorer families and areas suffering disproportionately during the pandemic. The government has spent billions to keep the UK functioning but will to rebuild the UK’s finances. This is an opportunity to build a fairer society.

Inequality has lead to a widening North, South divide and under-funding of areas in the UK, it can also be partly blamed for the referendum vote to leave the EU. Simply, parts of the UK feel left behind.

Wage inequality has become a key factor in health, education and quality of life outcomes for many in the UK.
